Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in technical pre-sales, solutions engineering, or similar roles within SaaS, cloud, or enterprise software environments.
- Strong hands-on experience with public cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Deep understanding of enterprise IT infrastructure including virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V), operating systems (Windows/Linux), and cloud security concepts.
- Experience designing and delivering SaaS solutions, including backup, recovery, data protection, or cybersecurity platforms.
- Strong consultative selling skills with experience conducting discovery, solution design, and value-based presentations.
- Ability to build and execute POCs and demonstrate technical value to enterprise customers.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools, containers (Docker/Kubernetes), APIs, and modern cloud-native architectures is a plus.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, including experience engaging senior executives.
- Experience working with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and structured sales methodologies (MEDDIC, SPIN, Challenger, etc.).
- Willingness to travel up to ~25% as needed.
Responsibilities
- Act as a regional SaaS technical expert, supporting sales teams in developing territory strategies and account plans.
- Lead pre-sales discovery sessions with senior IT stakeholders to identify technical, operational, and business requirements.
- Design and deliver tailored technical demonstrations, presentations, and proof-of-concept (POC) environments.
- Translate complex customer challenges into SaaS-based cyber resilience and data protection solutions.
- Build strong relationships with technical decision-makers and maintain ongoing engagement throughout the sales cycle.
- Collaborate with internal teams (sales, product, engineering, marketing, support) to ensure alignment and successful deal execution.
- Support channel partners and alliances by providing technical enablement and solution guidance.
- Maintain up-to-date expertise in cloud platforms, SaaS technologies, and competitive landscape trends.
