Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering with a strong focus on product security or application security.
- Strong proficiency in cloud-native development and programming languages commonly used in distributed systems.
- Deep understanding of secure software development practices, vulnerability management, and threat modeling.
- Hands-on experience with cloud security across AWS, Azure, or GCP environments.
- Knowledge of data privacy regulations such as GDPR, CCPA, and their implications for product design.
- Experience building automation for security remediation in cloud environments is highly desirable.
- Exposure to security challenges in AI/ML systems is a strong plus.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and collaboration skills with the ability to work cross-functionally.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of security-focused features and automation capabilities within a Data+AI Security platform.
- Embed security principles across the software development lifecycle in close collaboration with engineering, product, and security teams.
- Develop and enhance product features that help organizations detect, prevent, and remediate threats in cloud and AI/ML environments.
- Contribute to defining security-related product requirements, architecture decisions, and technical specifications.
- Stay current with emerging cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and best practices to proactively improve product defenses.
- Design and implement cloud-native security controls and automation for remediation of infrastructure and application risks.
- Support secure system design decisions that balance product usability, performance, and security requirements.
