Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in information security.
- 3+ years focused on AWS cloud security.
- Strong knowledge of AWS services including IAM, KMS, and WAF.
- Experience securing distributed systems and microservices architectures.
- Proficiency with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Scripting ability in Python, Go, or TypeScript.
- Experience with DevSecOps practices and CI/CD pipeline integration.
- Understanding of encryption, network security, and vulnerability management.
- Familiarity with containerized environments and cloud-native architectures.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or equivalent experience.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage security controls across AWS environments.
- Conduct security assessments of cloud infrastructure to identify vulnerabilities and define remediation.
- Embed security best practices into DevOps workflows and CI/CD pipelines.
- Optimize cloud security tooling including IAM, KMS, GuardDuty, Inspector, WAF, and Shield.
- Support penetration testing, security audits, and remediation efforts.
- Develop secure architecture patterns for distributed systems and microservices.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate security into system design and delivery.
- Mentor engineers and promote a culture of security awareness.
