Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Analytics or Data Science.
- Strong analytical mindset with experience working with large datasets.
- Proficiency in SQL and Python.
- Experience with analytical software.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate complex risk issues to diverse audiences.
- Proven experience influencing and partnering with cross-functional teams.
- Experience in fintech or financial services risk roles is a plus.
- Previous startup experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth analysis of financial data, transaction patterns, and user behavior to identify and assess potential credit, fraud, and compliance risks.
- Partner with product, engineering, and data science teams to design, build, and deploy automated risk controls and decisioning systems.
- Provide insights and recommendations to leadership on risk trends, policy improvements, and long-term risk strategy.
- Proactively identify areas for improvement in existing risk management processes and workflows.
- Drive initiatives to increase efficiency and scalability of risk operations.
