Reflective pioneers solutions for informed climate decisions, focusing on sunlight reflection research. This non-profit builds critical infrastructure to make solar radiation modification (SRM) research accessible. You will contribute to tools that accelerate global understanding of these vital climate interventions. We fund rigorous research and awarded $155,000 in grants in December 2024 alone. Our work aims to equip the world with data and tools fast enough to matter.

How We Work

We are building a small, high-trust team tackling technically hard and complex problems. You will operate productively in ambiguity, building structure where none exists. We value rigorous thought and clear communication. While we prefer some Bay Area office presence, we are open to remote candidates globally. Regular co-working weeks and team gatherings foster collaboration, with travel costs covered.

Engineering at Reflective

You will work on infrastructure that processes complex climate data and research. Our solutions include web-based cloud hubs with Earth climate system model simulation outputs and Jupyter notebooks. These tools facilitate collaborative analysis and accelerate modeling of SAI deployment scenarios. We use a robust stack including Next.js, Ruby on Rails, and Vercel to build scalable platforms for critical scientific insight.
