Requirements
- 7+ years of related experience in strategic account management, ideally in the footwear space.
- Excellent people leadership capabilities to motivate and engage teams.
- Experience in all forms of distribution, including owned retail, partnership branded retail, and wholesale development.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate strategies.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and strategic planning skills.
- Demonstrated decision-making skills and proactive issue resolution.
- Ability to travel up to 50%.
- Flexibility to work weekends or holidays as business needs require.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships and influence stakeholders.
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a flexible, adaptable environment.
Responsibilities
- Execute the strategy for Specialty Footwear in North America aligned with the long-term strategic plan.
- Identify and build relationships with new Specialty Partners to expand the distribution network.
- Develop programming and support a team of Territory Managers to drive profitable growth.
- Partner with trade marketing to create and execute seasonal strategies.
- Collaborate with demand planning and allocations for data-driven forecasting and assortments.
- Travel across North America up to 50% to support go-to-market success and partner relationships.
- Attend and support trade shows and industry events.
