Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 5–8+ years of experience in Systems Administration, Network Engineering, or senior MSP environment.
- Extensive experience with Windows Server (2012–2025), Active Directory, and Azure/Entra ID.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and Intune.
- Deep networking expertise including Cisco, Meraki, SonicWall, Fortinet, Palo Alto, and Ubiquiti.
- Advanced virtualization skills with VMware vSphere/vCenter and Hyper-V.
- Cloud infrastructure management experience specifically within Microsoft Azure.
- Proficiency in backup and security tools like Veeam, Datto, Barracuda, and Microsoft Defender.
- Strong scripting ability using PowerShell.
- Experience working in Managed Service Provider (MSP) environments supporting multiple clients.
- Familiarity with RMM tools such as ConnectWise, Kaseya, or NinjaOne.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain enterprise Windows Server and hybrid Microsoft 365/Azure environments.
- Architect and manage enterprise network infrastructure including routing, switching, SD-WAN, and firewalls.
- Manage virtualization clusters using VMware and Hyper-V platforms.
- Perform advanced root cause analysis (RCA) and serve as the final technical escalation point.
- Develop automation scripts using PowerShell to improve operational efficiency.
- Design and maintain robust backup and disaster recovery solutions.
- Mentor L1 and L2 engineers and drive infrastructure modernization projects.
