Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, or Deal Desk roles.
- Hands-on experience in CPQ systems and enterprise quoting processes.
- Strong proficiency in Salesforce CPQ and Salesforce CRM.
- Advanced skills in spreadsheet tools such as Google Sheets.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills, including experience with reporting and process mapping.
- Deep understanding of SaaS pricing models and subscription or usage-based structures.
- Exposure to revenue recognition principles such as ASC 606.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally.
- Highly detail-oriented and comfortable operating in fast-paced, iterative environments.
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end CPQ quoting activities, including configuration, pricing, validation, and approval workflows for both standard and complex deals using Salesforce CPQ.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to Sales teams by supporting deal structuring, providing quoting guidance, resolving order issues, and ensuring adherence to pricing and discounting standards.
- Develop and maintain reporting dashboards and analytics on key deal metrics such as turnaround time, approval cycles, discount trends, and quote performance.
- Identify and drive improvements in the quote-to-cash process, including automation opportunities and workflow optimization aligned with ASC 606 revenue recognition requirements.
- Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Finance, Legal, and Operations to implement process changes, manage escalations, and support training on CPQ tools.
- Monitor pricing integrity and compliance risks, proactively flag discrepancies, and support resolution efforts to protect margins.
