Requirements
- 8+ years of product management experience, with a strong focus on platform, infrastructure, developer tools, or technical products
- Proven ability to turn ambiguous technical domains into structured product strategy, roadmaps, and measurable outcomes
- Strong technical fluency in distributed systems, workflow orchestration, event-driven architectures, or similar backend platforms
- Deep understanding of API design, failure modes, reliability, scalability, and system trade-offs
- Experience building and shipping technical products in collaboration with engineering teams in iterative environments
- Ability to evaluate emerging workload patterns, including AI agents and tool-based systems, and translate them into platform requirements
- Strong developer experience mindset, including APIs, SDKs, documentation, and production usability
- Excellent communication skills for technical storytelling, cross-functional alignment, and external developer engagement
- Ability to balance open-source community needs, cloud product adoption, and enterprise-grade reliability requirements
- Experience with workflow engines, event-driven systems, or multi-language SDK ecosystems is a strong plus
Responsibilities
- Own the product strategy and roadmap for Core Primitives, defining how foundational abstractions evolve across the platform
- Translate customer needs, community feedback, and usage patterns into clear platform investments and technical product decisions
- Partner with engineering and SDK teams to evolve behavior across APIs, server components, SDKs, and cloud experiences
- Define and track success metrics for developer experience, reliability, adoption, and operational simplicity
- Establish clear product boundaries, usage models, and guidance to ensure consistent understanding of core primitives
- Drive improvements that reduce custom implementations, operational overhead, and production risk for developers
- Shape product storytelling through documentation, examples, launch narratives, and developer-facing communications
- Ensure shipped improvements include strong migration paths, onboarding materials, and adoption support
