Requirements

  • 7–12 years of engineering experience.
  • 3+ years experience managing teams of 8 or more in a SaaS product environment.
  • Proven track record leading engineering teams through legacy-to-modern product transitions.
  • Experience shipping AI-powered or agentic features in a production environment.
  • Experience managing hybrid teams of full-time staff and embedded vendor/contractor developers.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop senior engineers into technical leaders.
  • Strong proficiency in Agile and Scrum methodologies.
  • Experience with CI/CD maturity, code review cultures, and observability.
  • Technical depth sufficient to make informed design decisions and reason about code.
  • Hands-on familiarity with AI/ML tooling in a product integration context.

Responsibilities

  • Consolidate the Landing Page Builder group into one unit with shared priorities and a single delivery cadence.
  • Implement Agile and Scrum practices to drive predictable delivery, including managing story sizing, sprint commitments, and retrospectives.
  • Develop structured growth plans for engineers and mentor senior engineers into technical leadership roles.
  • Manage a hybrid team of full-time and vendor developers, ensuring consistent standards and effective knowledge transfer.
  • Translate CTO architectural direction into actionable sprint work for the AI-native product builder.
  • Balance delivery requirements between the existing legacy product and the new AI-native development workstreams.
  • Collaborate with Product and executive leadership to provide engineering input on roadmaps and planning.
