Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in telecommunications systems, particularly digital payloads.
- Strong expertise in requirements verification through testing, including the development and execution of test plans.
- Solid understanding of digital payload architectures, Software Defined Radio (SDR)-based flexible processors, and digital beamforming using DRA.
- Hands-on experience with Vector Network Analyzers (VNA), Spectrum Analyzers, Baseband Signal Generators, Channel Emulators, and Bit Error Rate (BER) Testers.
- Proficiency in Python, MATLAB, or LabVIEW for test automation and data analysis.
- Experience with SCPI, VISA, and similar interfaces for instrument control.
- Experience with FPGA-based systems and embedded software architectures is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute verification and validation (V&V) plans for digital telecommunications payload systems.
- Perform requirements verification through system-level and component-level testing.
- Validate the performance of digital payload architectures, including Software Defined Radio (SDR) processors and digital beamforming systems.
- Conduct RF testing using industry-standard test equipment and methodologies.
- Develop test automation scripts and analyze test data using Python, MATLAB, or similar tools.
- Configure and control laboratory test equipment using SCPI, VISA, and related interfaces.
- Collaborate with hardware, software, systems, and integration teams to resolve technical issues and ensure system compliance.
- Prepare technical documentation, test reports, and verification evidence to support project milestones.
