Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (advanced degree or MBA a plus).
- 5 years of sales or business development experience in Life Sciences, Biotech, Medical Device, Diagnostic Equipment, or Pharmaceutical industries.
- Valid driver's license.
- Proven success in introducing transformational, novel products or services to physicians and hospitals.
- Robust network of existing relationships in hospitals and health systems (microbiology labs, send-out labs, physician groups, C-level executives).
- Strong vision and planning capabilities to grow the territory.
- Excellent business acumen combined with analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated track record of top sales achievement and meeting sales objectives.
- Experience with multi-level account management.
- Strong presentation and negotiation skills for small and large groups.
- Ability to travel up to 70%.
Responsibilities
- Grow sales revenue and test volume in territory by establishing new business in hospitals and increasing volume in existing accounts.
- Engage key stakeholders including infectious disease physicians, lab directors, and C-level executives to implement new diagnostic tests.
- Present product features and benefits using consultative sales techniques to qualify leads, assess needs, and close evaluations.
- Build and maintain trusted advisor relationships, demonstrating ROI to hospital and health system partners.
- Secure, manage, and renew contracts and agreements to ensure long-term partnerships.
- Collaborate with internal teams including Inside Sales, Medical Affairs, Marketing, and Customer Success to achieve territory goals.
- Partner with Medical Affairs and Customer Success to onboard new accounts and address partner needs.
- Participate in broader sales meetings, training programs, and industry trade shows.
