Requirements
- Strong proficiency in Swift and iOS development.
- Ability to pick up Android and Kotlin development quickly.
- Demonstrated experience owning mobile features and quality.
- Experience shipping software using AI coding tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude Code).
- Strong communication skills with a focus on feedback culture and documentation.
- Ability to work asynchronously and document the 'why' behind decisions.
- Experience or familiarity with MVVM, Coordinators, and service layers.
- Knowledge of testing frameworks such as XCTest and CucumberSwift.
- Understanding of CI/CD, automatic deployment, and dependency management (e.g., Renovate).
- Flexible mindset towards adapting to project needs.
Responsibilities
- Own the mobile platform's quality, roadmap, and direction.
- Build and maintain mobile applications, starting with iOS and extending to Android.
- Collaborate with senior engineering staff on architectural decisions.
- Contribute to Android codebase and utilize AI tooling for efficient development.
- Document technical decisions and maintain a clear tech-debt roadmap.
- Monitor and maintain mobile performance metrics including change failure rates and test reliability.
- Focus on shipping outcomes and feature adoption rather than just outputting code.
