Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Public Health, Life Sciences, or equivalent experience.
  • 2–3+ years of direct clinical trial site contract and budget negotiation experience.
  • Experience managing Clinical Trial Agreements (CTAs), amendments, and site budget negotiations independently.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage contract lifecycles with minimal oversight.
  • Strong understanding of contract templates, fallback language, and budget development strategies.
  • In-depth knowledge of Phase II-IV clinical trials, ICH-GCP, and clinical development processes.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building abilities.
  • Strong project management, organization, and prioritization skills.

Responsibilities

  • Independently negotiate and manage Clinical Trial Agreements (CTAs), amendments, and site budgets for U.S. and Canadian clinical research sites.
  • Draft, clone, review, and negotiate site-specific CTAs using approved country templates and fallback language.
  • Partner with Sponsor stakeholders and internal teams including Clinical Operations, Legal, and Finance to resolve negotiation issues.
  • Maintain accurate negotiation status, milestones, and metadata within electronic repositories and tracking systems.
  • Perform quality control reviews to ensure contracts are complete, accurate, and execution-ready.
  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to the development of SOPs and training materials.
