Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in IT audit, information security, or information risk management.
- Experience in customer-facing roles within the defense industry.
- Strong technical knowledge of IT security theory, technologies, policies, and practices.
- Proficiency with GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance) platforms.
- In-depth knowledge of NIST (800-53, CSF) and other security frameworks.
- Proven ability in documentation uplift and creation.
- Experience with security metrics, reporting, and presentations.
- Strong analytical skills and organizational ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Persuasive communication and negotiation skills.
- Knowledge of data privacy regulations is a plus.
- Financial industry experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Document and maintain compliance with IT controls, procedures, and policies.
- Perform information risk assessments and audits to ensure system protection.
- Collect and manage security-related evidence for external audits.
- Provide technical expertise for IT security incident response.
- Review vendor IT security programs and controls.
- Track and execute remediation plans for identified security issues.
- Monitor and enforce system access controls.
- Advise on security posture using established risk management frameworks.
