Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in Embedded engineering
- Deep expertise in C development on resource-constrained MCUs
- Experience with RTOS, BLE/Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, SPI, I2C, I2S, and LEDs
- Proficiency with Jira, Git/Github, GDB, Make/Cmake, and Python
- Experience reading schematics and understanding datasheets
- Ability to work at the hardware-software border in a resource-constrained environment
- Experience writing automated tests and processes
- Strong judgment in balancing technical debt with product delivery
- Ability to thrive in rapid-learning environments using AI-assisted development
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts simply
Responsibilities
- Develop and ship firmware features and fixes for smart sleep devices
- Use AI-assisted development tools to accelerate engineering velocity
- Collaborate across mobile, backend, product, and QA teams
- Improve system observability through dashboards and enhanced firmware tooling
- Lead design and rollout of new product firmware and large-scale refactors
- Build reusable modules, scripts, and patterns to increase engineering consistency
- Mentor teammates and establish high-quality, pragmatic engineering standards
