Requirements
- 5+ years of backend engineering experience.
- Hands-on proficiency in Golang or similar languages.
- Deep experience with event-driven and async architectures (e.g., Kafka, NATS).
- Background in platform or infrastructure engineering, having built shared internal platforms.
- Experience defining engineering standards at an organizational level (RFCs, ADRs, or architecture review processes).
- Strong DevOps sensibility including CI/CD, containerization, Kubernetes, and cloud-native infrastructure.
- Experience managing or mentoring engineers with a focus on professional growth.
- Ability to work effectively with ambiguity and incomplete requirements.
- Comfortable staying hands-on with code and architecture.
Responsibilities
- Partner with engineering leadership to evolve and standardize the foundational architecture for a cloud-native, event-driven telecom platform.
- Own developer experience, including tooling, CI pipeline performance, dependency management, and inner-source contribution models.
- Govern shared UI component standards and design system practices used across teams.
- Establish and maintain engineering standards such as RFCs, ADRs, and architecture reviews.
- Partner with Operations and SRE teams to define observability standards, SLO/SLI frameworks, and reliability practices.
- Champion AI-first development practices across tooling, workflows, and culture.
- Manage and develop a small, established team of senior engineers.
