Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required (Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in dispatch, fuel accounting, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with large data sets.
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and multitasking skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, changing environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
- Ability to work nights and weekends as needed for on-call rotation.
- Petroleum industry experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Actively monitor designated customer tank readings.
- Plan deliveries based on current fuel levels and average daily usage.
- Monitor market direction to manage customer fuel purchasing opportunities.
- Schedule, coordinate, and manage fuel deliveries to customer locations.
- Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and carriers.
- Review and resolve customer bulk fuel vendor invoice exceptions and discrepancies.
- Process and review fuel transactions, including purchases, deliveries, and sales.
- Reconcile fuel-related data across systems to ensure data integrity.
- Prepare customer statements and maintain accurate fuel accounting records.
- Participate in an on-call rotation requiring weekend and overnight availability.
