Requirements
- 2-5 years of supervisory experience.
- 3-5 years of insurance billing experience.
- Demonstrated strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word).
- Experience using billing software (Kareo or Azalea preferred).
- Customer service experience.
- Knowledge of HIPAA-compliant confidentiality standards.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Ability to assess and improve existing processes and workflows.
- Strong communication skills with a focus on coaching and team building.
Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day operations of revenue cycle management services.
- Supervise, train, and mentor a team of Customer Billing Advocates and A/R Specialists.
- Monitor operational productivity, performance, and workload distribution.
- Serve as the primary subject matter expert for billing internal and external stakeholders.
- Manage client escalations within 48 hours to resolve issues and implement preventative processes.
- Analyze denial trends in DocVocate to develop long-term solutions for aging accounts receivable.
- Develop and execute quality assurance audits to ensure billing timelines are achieved.
- Coordinate with leadership, CSM, and QA teams to maintain high service levels across the client base.
