Requirements

  • 2-5 years of supervisory experience.
  • 3-5 years of insurance billing experience.
  • Demonstrated strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word).
  • Experience using billing software (Kareo or Azalea preferred).
  • Customer service experience.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA-compliant confidentiality standards.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Ability to assess and improve existing processes and workflows.
  • Strong communication skills with a focus on coaching and team building.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of revenue cycle management services.
  • Supervise, train, and mentor a team of Customer Billing Advocates and A/R Specialists.
  • Monitor operational productivity, performance, and workload distribution.
  • Serve as the primary subject matter expert for billing internal and external stakeholders.
  • Manage client escalations within 48 hours to resolve issues and implement preventative processes.
  • Analyze denial trends in DocVocate to develop long-term solutions for aging accounts receivable.
  • Develop and execute quality assurance audits to ensure billing timelines are achieved.
  • Coordinate with leadership, CSM, and QA teams to maintain high service levels across the client base.
