Requirements

  • 2+ years in customer success or account management.
  • At least 2 years of experience working in the security industry (operations, consulting, GRC, incident response, or product).
  • Track record of driving retention and growth in B2B environments with multiple stakeholders.
  • Ability to communicate across all levels, from technical practitioners to C-suite executives.
  • Understanding of the cybersecurity market including MDR, EDR, SIEM, and NDR.
  • Familiarity with security frameworks such as NIST CSF.
  • Ability to manage a portfolio of accounts independently.
  • Bachelor's degree or relevant certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Drive renewal rates toward 95%+ across your book of business by staying ahead of risk and building relationships.
  • Own the business relationship with security leaders and stakeholders to articulate the value of Expel's services.
  • Lead business reviews that connect Expel's activities to customer goals.
  • Identify and qualify expansion opportunities such as cross-sells, upsells, and overages.
  • Orchestrate internal resources including engineering and support teams to meet customer needs.
  • Manage customer communications during security incidents while coordinating with the SOC.
  • Forecast renewals and participate in an on-call rotation for escalations.
