Requirements
- 5 years of experience in an account management role within the utility industry.
- Deep understanding of full meter-to-cash processes in the utility sector.
- 3+ years of experience managing client contracts and SLAs.
- 3+ years of experience working with vendors managing products and services.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft products, specifically Excel for data extraction and graphical presentations.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle high-volume, complex priorities.
- Proven ability to create and lead client presentations with executive leadership.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, with experience communicating with senior management.
- Ability to work effectively in a remote environment.
- Ability to travel within North America to client locations or company events as required.
- Availability to work extended hours or weekends for client project work if needed.
Responsibilities
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships within assigned accounts to drive renewals and growth.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, escalations, and operational support.
- Schedule and facilitate client operational and business leadership review meetings.
- Monitor client SLAs and ensure adherence to contractual obligations.
- Collaborate with internal teams and sales to identify upsell opportunities and contract renewals.
- Track and bill client revenue, reporting to Finance on a monthly basis.
- Manage vendor partners as required for client projects or initiatives.
- Attend client outage or emergency triage calls to provide status updates.
