Requirements

  • 5 years of experience in an account management role within the utility industry.
  • Deep understanding of full meter-to-cash processes in the utility sector.
  • 3+ years of experience managing client contracts and SLAs.
  • 3+ years of experience working with vendors managing products and services.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft products, specifically Excel for data extraction and graphical presentations.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle high-volume, complex priorities.
  • Proven ability to create and lead client presentations with executive leadership.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with experience communicating with senior management.
  • Ability to work effectively in a remote environment.
  • Ability to travel within North America to client locations or company events as required.
  • Availability to work extended hours or weekends for client project work if needed.

Responsibilities

  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships within assigned accounts to drive renewals and growth.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, escalations, and operational support.
  • Schedule and facilitate client operational and business leadership review meetings.
  • Monitor client SLAs and ensure adherence to contractual obligations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and sales to identify upsell opportunities and contract renewals.
  • Track and bill client revenue, reporting to Finance on a monthly basis.
  • Manage vendor partners as required for client projects or initiatives.
  • Attend client outage or emergency triage calls to provide status updates.
