Requirements

  • High school diploma or its equivalent.
  • Minimum of two years of previous experience in service delivery, customer service, call center technology, or a related field.
  • Must be fluent in English and Spanish.
  • Proficiency in data entry including keyboard, mouse, and 10-key pad.
  • Experience with software such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and other Windows programs.
  • Experience with call center systems such as CISCO Finesse, COMM100, or Nice InContact.
  • Ability to pay attention to detail and accurately key data.
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work extended and flexible hours to meet strict deadlines.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality with discretion.

Responsibilities

  • Handle and resolve intricate inbound calls and chats from parents, legal representatives, and state officials regarding child support.
  • Conduct case research and execute financial assessments.
  • Clarify legal enforcement actions such as income withholding or license suspensions.
  • Assist parents with paternity and case initiation, and provide updates on modification statuses.
  • Document and update member information and process requests for state forms.
  • Document and request actions within the state’s system regarding technical problems hindering case processing.
