Job Details

Certified by the American Association of Electronic Reporters and Transcribers (AAERT).
Minimum of one year of experience transcribing digital recordings of multi-channel courtroom or other fast-paced proceedings.
Knowledge of and experience using transcription equipment and software for multi-speaker digital audio.
Exceptional attention to detail regarding spacing, speaker labels, timestamps, and repeated words.
Strong internal drive to ensure accuracy and meet quality standards.
Ability to spot deviations from formatting rules, style guides, and speaker logic.
Efficient and deadline-oriented self-motivation to manage varying workloads.
Excellent command of the English language.
Familiarity with general transcription standards, practices, and formatting guidelines.
Ability to follow detailed policies and procedures and maintain organized records.

Proofread transcripts of legal proceedings, witness interviews, body cam recordings, and other complex legal, virtual, and real-world interactions.
Review transcripts for accuracy, spelling, grammar, punctuation, and formatting.
Ensure transcripts are compliant with applicable legal and customer-specified standards.
Verify formatting guidelines and template rules are applied consistently across transcripts produced by multiple transcriptionists.
Transcribe, re-transcribe, and correct transcripts that do not meet standards.
Guarantee 99-100% accurate transcripts are delivered to the customer.
Develop mastery of proprietary cloud-based transcription platform, and provide actionable feedback as needed to drive product improvement.
Maintain strict confidentiality of all conversations and documents, adhering to privacy laws and company policies regarding sensitive information.
Provide excellent customer service.
