Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in pre-sales leadership
- Proven track record of leading a technical pre-sales region and meeting quota targets
- Ability to teach consultative selling methodologies
- Experience executing land and expand sales plays
- Ability to communicate effectively in presentations with executive-level customers
- Experience building technical champions and fostering relationships with senior executives
- Ability to travel approximately 30%
- Must live in the Western United States
Responsibilities
- Lead the Enterprise West Solutions Engineering team, reinforcing sales methodology and metrics-led best practices
- Provide ongoing mentorship to SEs on pre-sales techniques for securing new clients and expanding within existing customers
- Assess and develop the technical capabilities of team members to maintain required technical knowledge
- Provide performance reviews, assess skill sets, and provide professional development opportunities
- Partner with Regional Sales Directors to support sales campaigns and achieve revenue targets
- Support Sales Reps and SE teams by assessing customer information, identifying problem areas, and formulating effective solutions
- Deliver sales presentations and support Proof of Value events
