Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in pre-sales leadership.
  • Proven track record of leading a technical pre-sales region at a software company.
  • Experience executing land and expand sales plays to drive revenue.
  • Strong communication skills for presentations with executive-level customers.
  • Ability to teach consultative selling methodologies.
  • Experience building technical champions and fostering relationships with senior executives.
  • Ability to travel approximately 30%.
  • Must live in the Western United States.
  • Strong preference for background in selling Security and/or DevOps solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Enterprise West Solutions Engineering team, reinforcing sales methodology and metrics-led best practices.
  • Provide ongoing mentorship to Solutions Engineers on pre-sales techniques for securing new clients and expanding within existing customers.
  • Assess and develop the technical capabilities of team members to ensure effective pre-sales performance.
  • Partner with Regional Sales Directors to support sales campaigns and achieve revenue targets.
  • Identify customer problem areas, formulate solutions, and present technical information effectively.
  • Support Proof of Value events and foster relationships with executive-level customers.
