Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in pre-sales leadership.
- Proven track record of leading a technical pre-sales region at a software company.
- Experience executing land and expand sales plays to drive revenue.
- Strong communication skills for presentations with executive-level customers.
- Ability to teach consultative selling methodologies.
- Experience building technical champions and fostering relationships with senior executives.
- Ability to travel approximately 30%.
- Must live in the Western United States.
- Strong preference for background in selling Security and/or DevOps solutions.
Responsibilities
- Lead the Enterprise West Solutions Engineering team, reinforcing sales methodology and metrics-led best practices.
- Provide ongoing mentorship to Solutions Engineers on pre-sales techniques for securing new clients and expanding within existing customers.
- Assess and develop the technical capabilities of team members to ensure effective pre-sales performance.
- Partner with Regional Sales Directors to support sales campaigns and achieve revenue targets.
- Identify customer problem areas, formulate solutions, and present technical information effectively.
- Support Proof of Value events and foster relationships with executive-level customers.
