Requirements
- Active New York State License (LCSW or LMHC).
- Certification in DBT modalities.
- Master's degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Counseling Psychology, Clinical Psychology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience providing psychotherapy to diverse patient populations.
- 3+ years of combined training and active practice of DBT psychotherapy in more than half of sessions.
- 1+ year of experience facilitating psychotherapy group therapy for adult patients.
- Ability to manage a consistent clinical caseload in a telehealth environment.
- Proficiency with Google Suite and EHR platforms.
- Intermediate computer skills and technical aptitude.
- Commitment to ongoing learning, clinical consultation, and professional development.
Responsibilities
- Deliver evidence-based psychotherapy, including DBT, CBT, and Motivational Interviewing, via telehealth.
- Conduct comprehensive intake assessments, establish diagnoses, and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Serve as a clinical resource for DBT-informed approaches and provide informal consultation to other clinicians.
- Support the ongoing development, coordination, and oversight of DBT group programming.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to strengthen specialty patient care and service delivery.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with regulatory standards.
- Participate in weekly clinical supervision, education meetings, and interdisciplinary case discussions.
