Requirements
- 7+ years of hands-on experience in HVAC, mechanical systems, or industrial equipment manufacturing.
- 4+ years of experience in a Quality position (engineer, supervisor, manager).
- Demonstrated QA/QC experience on construction, commissioning, or service projects in data center or critical infrastructure environments.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, submittals, MOPs, SOPs, and EAPs.
- Strong written documentation skills for inspection reports, nonconformance logs, and summaries.
- Proficiency with BAS/BMS platforms for system verification.
- Fluency in Spanish.
- Willingness and ability to travel to factory and field sites 20-40% of the time.
- Strong mechanical knowledge of HVAC systems.
- Familiarity with 8D problem-solving and Six Sigma methodologies.
Responsibilities
- Support production in European manufacturing sites by identifying quality concerns and performing first article inspections.
- Review assembly, wiring, piping, and commissioning documentation against engineering specifications.
- Perform on-site QA/QC inspections at customer data centers to verify equipment installation and commissioning.
- Drive 8D problem-solving for technical customer issues and coordinate corrective actions with engineering teams.
- Create professional technical reports, including Root Cause Analysis and Plans of Corrective Actions.
- Participate in internal QC meetings as a field and factory intelligence source.
- Maintain logs of open quality items and track status through to resolution.
- Refine inspection checklists, MOPs, SOPs, and QA/QC documentation standards.
