Requirements
- Extensive experience working on SaaS platforms at scale.
- Experience dealing with distributed systems problems including scalability, multi-tenancy, data isolation, and high availability.
- Strong coding skills and operational experience with software you have built.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to express ideas clearly in writing and meetings.
- Ability to work across teams and align work with external stakeholders.
- Pragmatic approach to problem-solving, prioritizing progress over perfection.
- Ability to handle ambiguity.
- Proficiency in Golang or a strong willingness to learn the language.
Responsibilities
- Code new features and enhance the operational experience of systems, iteratively improving them based on production insights.
- Author, contribute to, and review design documentation.
- Take an active role in shaping the engineering roadmap.
- Mentor and support other team members while collaborating across different organizational teams.
- Own the customer experience by participating in weekday 12h x 5d and weekend 24h x 2d on-call rotations.
