Requirements
- 3-5+ years of experience supporting a team of individual contributors at multiple levels.
- Experience building user-centric engineering products.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver value fast using MVPs, frequent deployments, and scope negotiations.
- Experience optimizing team collaborations using feedback loops, retrospectives, and iteration.
- Strong understanding of industry best practices for managing software development, particularly agile processes.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to build trust and consensus across teams.
- Experience providing project management and organizational support on complex technical projects.
- Proven track record with recruiting, retaining, and growing engineering teams.
- Ability to work during regular business hours (Mon-Fri) across U.S. time zones.
- Proficiency with virtual communication tools such as Zoom and Slack.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of software engineers working on unified authentication and authorization frameworks.
- Support the professional development of direct reports through feedback, goal-setting, and performance reviews.
- Formulate product roadmaps in collaboration with engineers, product managers, and UX leads.
- Build and maintain relationships with cross-functional stakeholders including security, platform engineering, CX, and Sales.
- Ensure team delivery on roadmap goals while prioritizing frequent delivery of small iterations.
- Facilitate technical decision-making centered on security, scalability, and performance.
- Oversee the end-to-end software development process with a user-centric approach.
