Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with 6+ years of relevant experience, Master's degree with 4+ years, Associate's degree with 7+ years, or equivalent in IT, healthcare operations, or related field.
- At least 2 years of experience as a Business Analyst, including documenting business processes and functional requirements.
- Minimum of 3 years in a customer-facing role.
- Minimum of 2 years leading small to medium-sized projects.
- Experience developing and delivering user training or instructional materials.
- Strong communication, presentation, facilitation, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, user-friendly guidance.
- Experience with data governance platforms (e.g., Collibra), metadata management, data quality, and business intelligence reporting.
- Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP) or equivalent data governance credentials preferred.
Responsibilities
- Partner with data stewards and business stakeholders to establish governance standards, onboard new stewards, and promote effective data stewardship practices.
- Manage and maintain enterprise metadata within governance platforms, supporting catalog development, workflow automation, and metadata quality initiatives.
- Deliver and enhance enterprise data fluency programs by developing training materials, facilitating educational sessions, and evaluating program effectiveness.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data quality issues, analyze root causes, monitor key metrics, and support remediation efforts.
- Support the administration, configuration, maintenance, and continuous improvement of data governance tools and related workflows.
- Lead or coordinate small to medium-sized governance initiatives, document business requirements, analyze business processes, and recommend improvements to strengthen data management and analytics capabilities.
- Serve as a mentor and subject matter expert, providing guidance to team members and fostering collaboration across governance initiatives.
