Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business, law, finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in compliance and issues management.
- Focus on servicing operations compliance, including FCRA and FDCPA.
- In-depth knowledge of FCRA, FDCPA, and other servicing, collections, and repayments regulations.
- Working knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, and industry trends.
- Ability to research and investigate regulatory requirements.
- Strong relationship management and communication skills.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills to develop effective compliance solutions.
Responsibilities
- Stay abreast of changes in servicing, collections, and repayments regulations to ensure organizational compliance.
- Provide compliance guidance to Servicing, Collections, and Repayments teams regarding new initiatives and product changes.
- Identify, assess, and manage organizational compliance issues while developing corrective action plans.
- Develop and update compliance policies, procedures, and training programs.
- Establish monitoring mechanisms to track compliance metrics and key performance indicators.
- Prepare and present status reports to senior management regarding compliance status and remediation efforts.
