  • Demonstrated ability to review medical records and assess donor eligibility.
  • Working knowledge of medical terminology.
  • Familiarity with organ, tissue, and donor recovery processes.
  • Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Exceptional attention to detail in record keeping.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with computer systems, web-based applications, and digital communication tools.
  • Ability to maintain a reliable, high-speed internet connection and dedicated remote workspace.

Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly to donor screening referrals by reviewing medical records and Donor Risk Assessment Interview (DRAI) information.
  • Evaluate donor eligibility using established Ossium guidelines and clinical criteria.
  • Identify missing or conflicting information and obtain clarification from partner organizations.
  • Make independent donor acceptance and deferral decisions, escalating complex cases as needed.
  • Track donor cases through recovery and shipping workflows.
  • Document all screening activities, eligibility determinations, and partner communications.
  • Coordinate with OPOs, recovery partners, and internal stakeholders to manage cases.
