Job Details

Requirements

Current or expired K-6 teaching certification.
K-6 classroom teaching experience with a focus on reading.
Strong grounding in the Science of Reading (phonics, structured literacy, fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension).
Comfortable stepping into a tutoring session with little to no advance notice.
Available Monday-Thursday during daytime hours.
Commitment to a consistent, reliable schedule of 8-20 hours per week.
Reliable computer with camera and microphone, high-speed internet, and a quiet workspace.
Strong technical troubleshooting skills and comfort navigating digital platforms.

Responsibilities

Monitor daily tutoring session logins and flag issues in real time.
Respond to tutor emergencies and no-shows, including stepping in to deliver tutoring sessions as needed.
Provide technical support to tutors on an as-needed basis.
Complete small operations tasks during lighter hours to support the team.
