Requirements
- 10+ years of hands-on experience shipping models to production.
- MS in Computer Science, Statistics, Math, Science, or Engineering plus 5+ years of industry experience.
- Strong proficiency in Python, PyTorch, Tensorflow, Pandas, and numpy.
- Experience in data engineering and working with large production datasets (TB-scale) using tools like Spark.
- Strong software engineering skills with the ability to write production-quality code.
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Knowledge of Linux and shell scripting.
- Strong understanding of probability, statistics, machine learning, and algorithms.
- Startup experience strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Design and deploy machine learning algorithms for use cases spanning e-commerce, consumer trends, markets, logistics, and new products.
- Work on real-world consumer data for natural language processing, image classification, time series analysis, outlier detection, and user modeling.
- Manage machine learning operations and write production-level code.
- Develop frameworks, tools, and methodologies to multiply the effectiveness of the data science and data teams.
- Provide technical leadership through high-quality documentation, code reviews, and a strong vision.
