Requirements
- 5+ years driving SEO, organic growth, or AI-search visibility for a consumer, healthcare, marketplace, fintech, or regulated company.
- Direct ownership of organic growth tied to revenue, leads, bookings, or other business outcomes.
- Deep technical SEO experience across crawl/indexation, internal linking, JavaScript SEO, structured data, Core Web Vitals, and site architecture.
- Strong understanding of modern AI-search behavior, query fan-out, answer citations, and entity authority.
- Experience building AI-assisted content workflows with human review, fact-checking, and clinical/expert approval.
- Strong healthcare judgment with understanding of YMYL content, privacy, and clinical review workflows.
- Proficiency with tools such as Google Search Console, GA4, PostHog, Ahrefs, Semrush, Screaming Frog, BigQuery, Looker, Webflow, Next.js, Figma, and AI workflow tools.
- Ability to write and edit high-conversion landing page copy, meta-data, and content briefs.
- Comfortable making lightweight code/content changes or clearly briefing engineering teams.
- Low ego, high urgency, and founder-level ownership of growth initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Own Legion’s organic growth number across qualified organic sessions, eligibility completions, scheduled visits, completed visits, CAC payback, contribution margin, LTV, retention, and reactivation.
- Build Legion’s SEO and AI-search strategy across high-intent psychiatry, anxiety, depression, medication management, and other mental health services.
- Win visibility in traditional SERPs and AI answer surfaces, including Google AI Overviews, AI Mode, ChatGPT Search, Perplexity, Claude, Gemini, and Bing/Copilot.
- Build a content engine that uses AI for research and QA support while ensuring clinical pages are accurate, compliant, and reviewed by clinicians.
- Manage technical SEO including crawlability, indexation, structured data, Core Web Vitals, and server-log analysis.
- Maintain AI-search crawl visibility for relevant bots and retrieval agents.
- Optimize conversion from organic visits to appointments through page templates, trust modules, pricing messaging, and A/B testing.
- Partner with product, data, clinical, and legal teams to move fast while maintaining HIPAA safety and healthcare marketing compliance.
