Requirements

  • Experience in event management, community marketing, or field marketing at a tech company.
  • Track record of owning both large flagship events and smaller programmatic events.
  • Strategic, data-driven approach with the ability to define success metrics and structure events as learning opportunities.
  • Proven experience managing diverse event formats including conferences, executive programs, and meetups.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple concurrent projects across time zones.
  • Expertise in international logistics, including foreign vendors, cross-border shipping, and multi-currency payments.
  • Demonstrated ability to negotiate with vendors and venues and handle contracts and procurement.
  • Self-starter capable of thriving in a remote, async environment with high autonomy.
  • Ability to travel internationally when needed.

Responsibilities

  • Own the overall community events plan aligned to company goals around awareness, retention, and community health.
  • Design event programs as experiments by defining hypotheses, setting measurable goals, and creating feedback loops.
  • Lead planning and execution of the annual user conference (Meetabase) end-to-end.
  • Scale community-hosted events by providing toolkits, resources, and coordination for local organizers.
  • Manage demand generation events, including executive dinners and VIP programming.
  • Own all event operations including venue sourcing, budgeting, vendor management, and international logistics.
  • Define and track event KPIs and synthesize attendee feedback to continuously improve program quality.
  • Partner with Marketing, Sales, and Success Engineering on branding and lead handoff.
