Requirements
- 3-5+ years in security engineering with deep focus on cloud and/or infrastructure.
- Strong IaC skills with experience writing, reviewing, and refactoring at scale.
- Production experience across AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Hands-on experience with a cloud security platform.
- Strong scripting skills in Python or Go.
- Working knowledge of Kubernetes security including RBAC, admission control, and workload identity.
- Comfort owning a domain end-to-end: design, build, and operate.
- Experience defending crypto, fintech, or other targeted environments (nice to have).
- Experience with CI/CD security (nice to have).
- Adjacent experience in offensive security or application security (nice to have).
Responsibilities
- Own cloud security posture across AWS and GCP including IAM, network, encryption, logging, and account structure.
- Prioritize CNAP findings against real risk and drive remediation through engineering.
- Design and enforce IaC guardrails through pre-merge policy-as-code and CI gates.
- Lead identity and access design across cloud, IdP, and developer platforms.
- Own secrets management strategy and migrate away from long-lived credentials.
- Run offensive infrastructure testing including red-team scenarios and CI/CD supply-chain attack paths.
- Partner with SecOps on detection coverage and Product Security on infrastructure threat models.
- Manage third-party and supply-chain risk for container base images, build pipelines, and dependencies.
- Lead incident response for infrastructure-rooted incidents.
- Mentor engineers on threat modeling and secure-by-default infrastructure patterns.
