Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, or equivalent practical experience.
- 3+ years of experience in commercial real estate capital markets, specifically on the debt side.
- Proven track record closing institutional-level transactions ($10M+ individual deal size).
- Proven annual closed volume of $30M+.
- Fluency in capital stack structuring and term sheet negotiation.
- Deep understanding of underwriting and lender program criteria (Bank, Debt Fund, CMBS, Life Company, Construction).
- Ability to lead capital strategy end-to-end.
- Experience building a book of business from scratch is preferred.
- Experience with automated workflow platforms or data-driven deal screening tools is preferred.
- Experience raising programmatic capital is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Drive consistent deal origination by expanding relationships with borrowers, lenders, and investors.
- Lead full-cycle debt and equity placement from sourcing to closing.
- Structure capital stacks and negotiate complex term sheets.
- Perform underwriting and create high-quality marketing collateral.
- Provide strategic guidance to clients regarding risk and execution paths.
- Utilize proprietary technology and workflow tools to maximize transaction volume.
