Requirements
- 5-8+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or platform engineering.
- 3+ years of experience leading engineering teams, including hiring and performance management.
- Direct experience with modern data stacks and cloud data warehouses, specifically Snowflake.
- Experience with transformation frameworks and orchestration tools.
- Proven track record of delivering complex data platform initiatives like migrations or greenfield builds.
- Experience operating in regulated or compliance-sensitive environments.
- Ability to review code, debug production issues, and make architectural judgments.
- Capacity to balance delivery pressure with team health and sustainable engineering practices.
Responsibilities
- Build, lead, and develop a team of data, analytics, and platform engineers.
- Manage engineering delivery cadence, including sprint planning, standups, and retrospectives.
- Lead technical design reviews and establish scalable architectural decisions.
- Enforce engineering practices such as CI/CD, code review, and incident management.
- Partner with the SVP on hiring, team development, and strategic planning.
- Serve as the engineering interface to business and IT stakeholders.
- Ensure production systems meet SLAs through established monitoring and incident response.
