Requirements
- 2-4 years of experience in a people-facing HR function (HR generalist, employee experience, employee relations, or similar).
- Experience supporting employee lifecycle processes in a fast-paced or startup environment.
- Hands-on experience with HRIS platforms such as HiBob, Rippling, Workday, or BambooHR.
- Proven ability to administer employee benefits programs and HR operational policies.
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Outstanding customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and responsiveness.
- Professionalism and discretion in handling sensitive employee relations and policy matters.
- Willingness to travel to NYC for team meetings and company off-sites throughout the year.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for day-to-day employee questions and facilitate employee 1:1 check-ins.
- Coordinate employee lifecycle processes including onboarding, offboarding, promotions, and organizational changes using platforms like HiBob and Rippling.
- Administer employee benefits programs across the U.S. and Canada and manage leave and PTO tracking.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to drive continuous process improvement, automation, and HR system data integrity.
- Organize employee engagement initiatives, life event recognition, and company logistics such as offsites and in-person workdays.
- Maintain HR documentation and support annual merit review administration and People Operations budget tracking.
