Requirements
- 6+ years of dedicated professional software engineering experience.
- Expert-level proficiency in React and modern JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Strong focus on core web vitals, cross-device web performance, and UI/UX.
- Experience developing modular APIs and third-party middleware integrations.
- Track record of engineering transactional flows, payment processor integrations, or conversion systems.
- Hands-on experience building code for A/B testing tools.
- Experience with behavioral cohort tracking and data collection principles.
- Direct technical exposure to subscription experience platforms or paywall engines (e.g., Zephr, Piano) is a plus.
- Experience configuring Customer Data Platforms like BlueConic or Tealium is a plus.
- Familiarity with product analytics tools like Google Analytics or Mixpanel is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and scale registration workflows, secure checkout systems, and friction-free donation architectures.
- Develop and iterate on personalized user onboarding experiences and automated marketing messaging.
- Plan, build, and programmatically deploy A/B and multivariate experiments.
- Configure and integrate subscription/paywall frameworks like Zephr and Customer Data Platforms like BlueConic.
- Build, secure, and maintain custom APIs and microservices for transaction processing.
- Deploy next-best-action models and data pipelines to deliver relevant reader engagement.
- Audit behavioral drop-off points and monitor checkout health metrics.
