Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in platform engineering, enterprise architecture, or senior technical leadership driving large-scale transformation.
  • Proven experience leading and influencing engineering organizations of 30–40+ engineers across multi-workstream programs.
  • Strong background in enterprise platform architecture, including cloud-native systems, Kubernetes, and infrastructure-as-code.
  • Deep expertise in CI/CD systems at enterprise scale, including pipeline standardization, governance, and delivery optimization.
  • Experience building observability, reliability, and DevSecOps practices across large engineering organizations.
  • Demonstrated ability to design and execute platform transformation roadmaps adopted across multiple teams.
  • Proven track record as a trusted advisor to executive leadership (CTO, CIO, VP Engineering, Chief Architect).
  • Strong understanding of AI-enabled systems and experience integrating AI into production workflows, platforms, or developer tooling.
  • Excellent communication and executive storytelling skills to align technical strategy with business outcomes.
  • Ability to travel 25–50%.

Responsibilities

  • Define and own the enterprise-wide platform architecture vision, including target state design, technical strategy, sequencing, and engineering standards.
  • Architect cloud-native platforms that enable scalable workloads, self-service capabilities, secure operations, and compliant system growth.
  • Design and guide enterprise CI/CD strategies, including pipeline standardization, toolchain rationalization, and governance models.
  • Establish DevSecOps and observability frameworks to transform how organizations build, monitor, and secure production systems.
  • Develop end-to-end technical roadmaps bridging current-state architectures to future-state platforms while balancing business priorities.
  • Lead and influence multi-stream engineering organizations of 30–40+ engineers, ensuring alignment between architecture and execution.
  • Partner with executive stakeholders including CTOs, CIOs, and VPs of Engineering to align strategy with enterprise objectives.
