Requirements
- 10+ years of operations or senior leadership experience, including direct reporting to executive leadership (CEO/COO level)
- Significant experience within a digital agency, web studio, or software consultancy delivering client-based web applications
- Proven track record leading delivery teams responsible for websites or web apps (Drupal, WordPress, or similar platforms preferred)
- Experience managing managers and building scalable operational structures across multiple teams
- Strong understanding of project delivery lifecycle, resource planning, margins, and agency financial levers
- Demonstrated ability to design and implement operational systems and ensure adoption across teams
- Exposure to revenue operations (sales, proposals, estimating, or business development) in an agency context
- Strong leadership, communication, and people development skills with a high accountability mindset
- Experience in organizations of approximately 20–150 employees is strongly preferred
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery operations for complex website and web application projects, ensuring quality, profitability, and on-time execution
- Oversee resource planning, capacity management, and project staffing to align demand with delivery capability
- Establish and manage operating rhythms (planning cycles, leadership meetings, KPI tracking, and execution frameworks such as EOS)
- Build and optimize internal systems, workflows, and processes to improve operational efficiency and scalability
- Own talent operations including recruiting, onboarding, performance management, and leadership development
- Track and manage key operational metrics including utilization, margins, retention, and pipeline health
- Support and guide revenue-facing functions (sales, estimating, and business development) as a secondary responsibility
- Partner directly with executive leadership to translate strategy into execution and accountability across the organization
