Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Medicine, Pharmacy, Nursing, or related discipline (or equivalent education and experience).
  • Extensive experience in clinical research, preferably within a CRO or global pharmaceutical environment.
  • Strong knowledge of ICH-GCP guidelines, regulatory requirements, and clinical drug development processes.
  • Proven experience managing complex, global, multi-sponsor clinical trials across multiple phases and therapeutic areas.
  • Strong financial and operational project management skills, including budgeting and resource planning.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and deliver high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience mentoring or managing project teams is considered an asset.
  • Willingness to travel as required (approximately 25%).

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage one or more global clinical projects from proposal development through study closeout, ensuring delivery on scope, timeline, budget, and quality.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between sponsors and internal teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment with contractual and operational expectations.
  • Oversee cross-functional clinical teams and external partners while ensuring compliance with GCP, SOPs, and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor project performance, maintain timelines, manage risks, and implement mitigation and contingency strategies as needed.
  • Ensure financial oversight of assigned projects, including forecasting, budgeting, and performance tracking.
  • Maintain project documentation systems, inspection readiness, and Trial Master File (TMF) compliance.
  • Prepare and present project updates and reports to internal leadership and external clients.
  • Support and mentor junior project team members and contribute to team development and training initiatives.
  • Participate in bid defenses and support business development efforts by building strong client relationships and identifying growth opportunities.
