Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in engineering or field service roles, ideally within the paper, power, or chemical industries.
  • Strong technical understanding of industrial equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, schedules, and budgets.
  • Experience in project management or project coordination within technical or industrial environments.
  • Mechanical aptitude, including ability to use measurement tools like micrometers and calipers.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills in field environments.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience working directly with customers.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Willingness to travel extensively (70%+ of the time) for field assignments.

Responsibilities

  • Develop field service concepts, execution plans, and cost estimates for project proposals.
  • Coordinate with customers and internal stakeholders to clarify technical requirements and support proposal development.
  • Conduct site assessments and contribute to design reviews for field execution feasibility.
  • Prepare technical specifications for outsourced services and evaluate vendor bids.
  • Identify risks and opportunities and support the development of mitigation strategies.
  • Support project and site managers in executing activities while ensuring adherence to quality, safety, and budget.
  • Troubleshoot equipment and provide on-site technical support and decision-making.
  • Ensure availability of HSE documentation, procedures, and site infrastructure readiness.
