Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in engineering or field service roles, ideally within the paper, power, or chemical industries.
- Strong technical understanding of industrial equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, schedules, and budgets.
- Experience in project management or project coordination within technical or industrial environments.
- Mechanical aptitude, including ability to use measurement tools like micrometers and calipers.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills in field environments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience working directly with customers.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Willingness to travel extensively (70%+ of the time) for field assignments.
Responsibilities
- Develop field service concepts, execution plans, and cost estimates for project proposals.
- Coordinate with customers and internal stakeholders to clarify technical requirements and support proposal development.
- Conduct site assessments and contribute to design reviews for field execution feasibility.
- Prepare technical specifications for outsourced services and evaluate vendor bids.
- Identify risks and opportunities and support the development of mitigation strategies.
- Support project and site managers in executing activities while ensuring adherence to quality, safety, and budget.
- Troubleshoot equipment and provide on-site technical support and decision-making.
- Ensure availability of HSE documentation, procedures, and site infrastructure readiness.
