Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a Life Insurance Brokerage Manager within a general agency, with recent hands-on brokerage management experience required.
- Proven track record of generating at least $1M+ in annual life insurance premium through an established advisor network.
- Strong existing relationships with life insurance and financial advisors who rely on you as a trusted partner.
- Deep understanding of life insurance products, carrier requirements, and case design strategies.
- Experience using illustration and planning tools such as WinFlex and/or Ensight.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence, advise, and build trust with advisors.
- Ability to work under pressure with urgency, organization, and strong execution skills.
- Customer-centric mindset with the ability to translate advisor feedback into actionable improvements.
Responsibilities
- Recruit, onboard, and grow a network of life insurance and financial advisors through outbound outreach, referrals, and relationship development.
- Act as the primary point of support for assigned advisors, providing guidance on case design, illustrations, carrier selection, and new business submission.
- Manage and maintain strong long-term relationships with advisors, ensuring consistent production and high-quality case flow.
- Support complex, high-value life insurance cases with a focus on optimizing outcomes and improving placement success.
- Serve as the liaison between advisors and internal teams, capturing feedback and helping improve tools, processes, and product offerings.
- Contribute to business growth by driving premium production and supporting advisors in achieving revenue targets.
