Requirements
- 8+ years of professional experience in software or ML engineering.
- Significant experience in data/ML infrastructure or platforms.
- 3+ years managing ML, Data Engineering, or platform engineering teams.
- Proven experience building or scaling MLOps capabilities including model registry, feature stores, and drift monitoring.
- Experience building data platforms and engineering systems at scale using streaming or large-scale batch pipelines.
- Proven experience shipping and operating data and ML systems in production at scale.
- Demonstrated ownership of the model lifecycle infrastructure: data, training, evaluation, deployment, and monitoring.
- Proven ability to grow people, uplevel teams, and manage performance.
- Experience driving alignment and execution across cross-functional partners.
- Ability to operate under ambiguity and prioritize effectively in a fast-moving environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead Data + ML Platform strategy and execution, including ownership of technical direction.
- Invest in MLOps capabilities such as model registry, feature stores, drift monitoring, and experiment tracking.
- Build measurement and experimentation frameworks for LLM and agentic workflows.
- Develop data platform and engineering capabilities for large-scale streaming and batch data.
- Modularize and scale systems while modernizing legacy infrastructure.
- Anticipate skill gaps and build a hiring plan to attract and retain talent.
- Coach team members and develop future leaders within the organization.
- Partner with Product, Hardware, and Data Science teams to shape roadmaps and translate business needs into technical direction.
