Requirements
- Strong experience in the AWS data landscape.
- Expertise in at least two of the following: relational database design/migration, big data processing (Spark, Hadoop, EMR), MLOps, advanced analytics, BI dashboards, or Data Governance/MDM.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong background in application modernization and migration with a focus on databases.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Manage a team of 5 - 8 cloud engineers and architects.
- Interface with clients and internal teams to propose technical improvements.
- Take on hands-on technical responsibilities, including technical tasks in sprints.
- Lead technical discussions with customers and perform code reviews.
- Manage task assignments and project technical accountability.
- Perform technical leadership activities including best practices implementation and risk identification.
- Mentor team members and guide their career development via weekly 1:1s.
- Develop and review proposals and contracts for clients.
- Perform technical interviews for new hires.
