Requirements
- 8-12+ years of experience in fraud, risk, fraud intelligence, trust & safety, or related fields.
- Deep experience assessing and implementing fraud solutions, including rules, signals, vendors, and workflows.
- Strong understanding of product development and technology concepts, including APIs, SDKs, and JavaScript-based integrations.
- Extensive experience working with third-party fraud vendors, such as device intelligence, identity, and payment security tools.
- Ability to use data-driven insights to guide decisions and influence senior stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of modern fraud technologies, including ML/AI-driven detection systems.
- Experience measuring and optimizing fraud performance across operations and vendor effectiveness.
- Proficiency in analyzing fraud typologies including payment fraud, account takeover, scams, and mule activity.
- Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills with Product, Engineering, Data, Legal, and Compliance teams.
- SQL, Python, dashboarding, or advanced analytics experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Design and evolve scalable risk tools and strategies in partnership with Product and Engineering.
- Define and operate a layered fraud defense approach across internal systems, vendors, and operational workflows.
- Analyze fraud trends and translate insights into actionable improvements for systems, rules, and controls.
- Leverage ML and AI systems to improve fraud detection and develop frameworks for model training.
- Manage relationships with third-party fraud vendors to ensure performance and alignment with business needs.
- Partner with Data teams to build data pipelines, dashboards, and reporting for executive visibility.
- Develop fraud intelligence reporting covering emerging typologies, trend analysis, and control performance.
