Requirements
- 5-8+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or platform engineering roles.
- 3+ years of experience leading engineering teams, including hiring and performance management.
- Direct experience with modern data stacks including cloud data warehouses (Snowflake preferred).
- Expertise in transformation frameworks and orchestration tools.
- Demonstrated track record of delivering complex data platform initiatives like migrations or greenfield builds.
- Experience operating in regulated or compliance-sensitive environments.
- Ability to review code, debug production issues, and make architectural judgments.
- Commitment to engineering craft including clean code, testing, and documentation.
Responsibilities
- Build, lead, and develop a team of data, analytics, and platform engineers.
- Manage sprint planning, capacity, and delivery across concurrent workstreams.
- Lead technical design reviews and ensure architectural decisions align with medallion data architecture.
- Establish and enforce engineering practices such as CI/CD, testing, and code reviews.
- Act as the primary engineering interface for cross-functional stakeholders including Product Solutions and IT.
- Oversee platform operations, reliability, and incident response to meet SLAs.
